If you’re feeling adventurous, John Hall’s brand-new tour, Untamed Alaska, may be just up your alley.
“Untamed Alaska is unlike any tour John Hall’s Alaska has offered in the past, due to the mix of transportation and designated ‘adventure days,’” says Liz Baker, vice president of Thompson & Co. Public Relations. “Travelers will experience Alaska by three different modes of transportation—train, boat and motorcoach—which each allows travelers to absorb Alaska in a different way.”
During the tour, travelers have a twoday period to do some solo exploring and adventuring. They can choose from a variety of activities that include glacier kayaking, deep sea fishing, gold panning, nature hiking and more. Whether it’s spotting humpback whales in the waters of Prince William Sound or enjoying a helicopter view of North America’s tallest peak, Denali, the entirety of the trip incorporates hands-on activities and sightseeing opportunities that guests won’t experience anywhere else.
Rates range from $5,769 to $7,249 per person and are based on overall occupancy. For group rates, additional savings are available, depending upon the number of cabins booked.
