Donut Bar Serves up Unusual Baked Goods in Quirky Ways

By M+E Staff

Doughnuts are delicious. Even days-old doughnuts tend to linger in workplaces, with people reluctant to throw them out.

Donut Bar + Coffee, in Southfield, believes the favored baked treat can be taken to an even higher level of sugary goodness. The company emphasizes the quality of its ingredients and even refers to its doughnuts as “handcrafted.” But the hipster language can be forgiven: Donut Bar serves up doughnuts coated in Nutella; Reese’s Pieces; Cocoa Krispies and glaze with a chocolate ganache drizzle; and cream cheese frosting, graham-cracker crumbs, bananas, walnuts and caramel-cookie butter drizzle. Plus a whole lot more.

In other words, Donut Bar’s doughnuts are off the chain. Serve them at your next meeting for a “we’re finished” treat (unless you want to manage attendees’ sugar crash while pouring over spread sheets); custom orders can also be created. Your guests will thank you.
