Satisfying a Sweet Tooth

By Brittany Trevick

We recently celebrated National Chocolate Chip Day—quite possibly one of the sweetest days of the year. Dreaming of finding the best chocolate chip cookie around got us thinking about tiny desserts to hand out after events. Anything sweet is sure to put a smile on guests’ face and give them a lasting memory.

Macarons Not only are these the cutest little desserts (the colors are so eye-popping), but they also are the perfect size for stuffing in a gift bag. Guests will be delighted with the delicious, whimsical French treats.

Cake pops So, maybe these are a little overused, but we’re still in love with how delicious and cute they are. We liken them to lollipops for adults, making guests feel nostalgic.

Mini cupcakes We just can’t get enough cupcakes in our life. They provide so many different varieties (think maple bacon, Nutella and avocado) And you can definitely incorporate chocolate chips into any flavor to celebrate today’s holiday.

Cheesecake bites A classic favorite made to be perfectly portioned. No need to feel guilty or extra full  with these indulgent treats.

Mini hand pies Truly old-school, these Southern favorites will surprise and delight guests. There are a plethora of options—including savory pies—to please guests.

Doughnut holes These desserts are sure to delight. Found at state fairs and breakfast tables alike, these fried and doughy desserts are simple and delicious.
