Signature Drink- The Ogden
More than a garnish, the tarragon is clapped by hand and added to the shaker to release its aroma and taste.
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz. cognac
1 oz. Cointreau
.75 oz. agave
.75 oz. ginger agave simple syrup
5 oz. gelatin
.5 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice
3 sprigs of tarragon
Absinthe
Orange peel for garnish
CREATE:
Add the first seven ingredients to a shaker and shake well.
Clap the tarragon in your hands to release aroma and flavor from the herb, and add it to the shaker.
Shake well and double strain into a snifter that’s been sprayed with an absinthe mist.
Garnish with a flamed orange peel.
