Brazil’s national cocktail is the caipirinha, made with Fogo de Chão’s own cachaça, which is similar to rum but made with sugarcane juice instead of molasses. You can make it in the traditional manner with a silver cachaça or with an aged spirit for a premium version.
INGREDIENTS
—2 oz. Fogo Silver Cachaca
—1 lime sliced into wedges
—1 oz. simple syrup (2 tbsp sugar)
—6 oz. ice
DIRECTIONS
1. Muddle lime wedges with simple syrup.
2. Add ice and cachaça.
3. Shake well and pour on the rocks in a glass.
4. Garnish with a lime wheel.
