In 2019, the highly acclaimed Los Cabos Pedregal became the first resort in Mexico to become part of the Waldorf Astoria Collection. As we reported then, the 24-acre property that sits at the southernmost tip of of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, is a luxurious destination for meetings. An experienced on-site team can help plan a reception for 200 at the beach club, complete with salsa lessons and a mariachi band; a cocktail party in the main lobby oceanside terrace; dinner at El Farallón, a restaurant framed by rocky cliffs and suspended over the ocean, preceded perhaps by a sundown toast of bubbly, courtesy of the mobile champagne cart, with music by a violinist, and more.
Now, Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal has announced the debut of several new culinary offerings across the resort. These include:
Agave Study at Peacock Alley, an open-air experience centered around the craftsmanship of agave spirits native to Mexico. Guests can enjoy multi-sensorial tastings that pair agave spirits, presented in handmade pottery and glassware, with local delicacies.
Neutral Coffee Lab, offering coffee varieties from around the region, along with stories of the people and places behind the coffee beans shared by Neutral’s passionate baristas. In addition to the coffee culture, guests can also enjoy a selection of gourmet sandwiches, salads, and pastries all of which can be enjoyed on the adjacent terrace that overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
DON MANUEL’S. The redesigned signature restaurant spotlights TRAVESÍA at Su Cocina. The nine-course tasting menu celebrates Mexico’s beloved taco, with a culinary tour de force that invited guests to traverse the robust flavor profiles crafted and cultivated in Mexico, from the coastal fare of oysters and blue prawns, to farm-to-table favorites like lamb shank barbacoa and wagyu cheeks.
