Situated at the base of Mount Washington in the White Mountains of New Hampshire is The Glen House, a new hotel that was recently named one of the top hotels in New England by the Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards.

With a deep-rooted history, The Glen House is in its fifth iteration since the original was built in 1852, and it’s the first property to be built near the site in more than half a century. Designed to serve active travelers and guests driving Mt. Washington Auto Road, the most famous mountain drive east of the Rockies, The Glen House offers 40 kilometers of trails for cross country skiing, hiking and trail biking among other outdoor activities.

The Glen House is well-equipped with 68 rooms, an exquisite bar with lounge space and outdoor patio, The Notch Grille restaurant, gym and indoor saltwater swimming pool. Prices start at $149 per room, per night and is based on double occupancy.

With more than 5,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor space capable of seating up to 250 guests, The Glen House is the ideal place for hosting social events, business meetings and corporate retreats. Amenities include private meeting spaces, A/V equipment and catering menus created by the hotel’s food & beverage team. Day meeting packages start at $250 per day while multi-day meeting packages can include guest rooms, breaks, meals, and a variety of activities. The Glen House boasts its team of professional planners who are available to develop successful meetings and events tailored to meet the needs of visitors year-round.

“It’s an honor to be named among the top properties in New England by Condé Nast Traveler,” says Thomas Spaulding, general manager of The Glen House. “The hotel is truly unique, but this award is really about our fine team and the efforts they make to exceed expectations for each guest.”
