Choice Hotels International Inc. opened a new Cambria Hotel in Lake Placid, New York, joining a portfolio of more than 60 properties nationwide and an upscale portfolio of eight brands—including Radisson Blu, the Ascend Collection, Radisson, and Radisson Individuals—worldwide.

The addition of Cambria Hotel Lake Placid–Lakeside Resort adds to the brands 14% growth this year. Located on Saranac Avenue, the three-story, 185-room lakeside resort is surrounded by the beauty of the Adirondack Mountains and offers stunning views of Lake Placid. The hotel’s design is influenced by the four-season beauty of the area, and the resort boasts modern, upscale amenities and convenient access to Lake Placid’s top attractions.
Cambria Hotel Lake Placid–Lakeside Resort has one 4,185-square-foot ballroom capable of accommodating 465 attendees reception-style, 441 theatre-style, and 349 banquet-style. The resort offers full-service catering for up to 200 eventgoers.
