Delta Sky Club announced it will open a second location within John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport in New York. The lounge, which will be located at Terminal 4 near Gate A7, will be nearly 14,000 square feet and will accommodate nearly 250 guests. In tandem with JFK’s first Sky Club, both locations will have the capacity for over 800 guests.
Inspired by New York City, the new lounge will feature a covered Sky Deck, a fireplace lounge with views of the airfield, a tucked-away nook with lush seating, and a signature, 360-degree premium bar. The club will also showcase the culinary work of emerging chef Elyssa Geller, founder and CEO of Edith’s Eatery & Grocery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
“This new club is beautifully designed and packed with special details that reflect the magic of New York City,” says Delta Sky Club’s Managing Director Claude Roussel in a prepared statement. “But much more important than that, it’s a place where our people can deliver Delta Sky Club’s signature hospitality, making each guest feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they step inside.”
This summer, Delta is offering more than 230 daily departures to 95 destinations from JFK, operating its largest trans-Atlantic schedule ever. Later this year and next winter, the airline will launch new seasonal services to Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, respectively. Since 2021, Delta has invested $1.5 billion toward infrastructure expansion projects at JFK.
