Great Jones Distilling Co. is Manhattan’s first distillery since the pre-prohibition era. Located in the heart of the NoHo neighborhood, the restaurant, distillery, and event space only serves New York-made spirits, wine, and beer, with tasty bites to complement. The in-house whiskey is made from 100% New York-sourced grain that is then distilled and aged for a minimum of four years in new charred American Oak barrels.

Aside from its tasty sips, the four-level venue is comprised of The Grid Restaurant and gift shop on the main floor, and three other distinct private areas throughout the other floors that are available for individual rental or can be combined for a full buyout. The first of the three is the 650-square-foot Penthouse Lounge which offers space for a 60-person reception or a 20-person banquet. Located on the third floor, this intimate space overlooks Broadway Avenue and features a library, projector screen, and private service bar.

The Distillery on the second floor is where all the magic happens. The 1,000-square-foot facility can accommodate up to 125 people for a reception-style event in the center of the production floor. Allow guests to mingle around the equipment and ingredients that make up their tasty drinks. And for old time’s sake, rent the 420-square-foot Speakeasy for up to 50 people. Its unique location hidden below street level is said to have been the location of a Prohibition-era rum runner’s tunnel.
