“This is great news for Atlantic City,” says CRDA Executive Director John Palmieri. “These results affirm our continuing commitment to—and investment in—non-gaming attractions that help distinguish Atlantic City from other gaming destinations throughout the world.”
There are currently eight hotel casino gaming properties: Bally’s, Borgata, Caesars, Golden Nugget, Harrah’s, Resorts, Tropicana and Taj Mahal. Of course, the city boasts other forms of entertainment with free beaches, a plethora of restaurants, stellar meeting spaces, an aquarium and the Boardwalk.
“Atlantic City is the Triple Crown winner—a beach, a boardwalk and casino gaming,” says City of Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian. “Where else can you go in the world to get all three at once? Atlantic City is the place to be for fun in the sun while enjoying all of the casino gambling that you want.”
