There’s nothing like finding the perfect wine to compliment a meal. However, acquiring the two can be difficult.
To combat that problem, NACE’s Philadelphia/South Jersey/Delaware Chapter is offering an educational evening that will give you the knowledge you need to be an excellent sommelier.
The event, taking place Feb. 10 at the Camden County Boathouse in Pennsauken Township, N.J., will be led by chef Jerry Edwards, CPCE. Edwards is the owner of Chef’s Expression Catering and Consulting Maryland. In 2007, he was inducted into the NACE Hall of Fame, an award that has been given to only six other people in 48 years.
Food will be provided by Sensational Host and Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery has donated the wine. The company is working with Edwards to create tantalizing pairings. Signature martins will also be featured.
