The DoubleTree by Hilton Reading has officially opened its doors and is welcoming guests with their signature warm chocolate chip cookies in hand.

The 209-room, eight-story hotel features a modern interior designed by RD Jones & Associates, with urban rustic décor, wood accents and a soft color palette. Local artwork adorns the walls and guest rooms have 43″ HDTVs, mini refrigerators and safes.
Other complimentary offerings include Wi-Fi throughout the hotel’s public areas and guest rooms, a 24-hour business center, a 24-hour fitness center and an indoor swimming pool. There is free garage parking and shuttle service within a 5-mile radius of the hotel.
As part of its grand opening, the hotel introduced the restaurant Cheers American Bistro, open for all-day dining with seasonal menus that feature farm-to-table entrees, such as g burgers, salads, steaks and seafood.
With 27,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, including a 12,000-squar-foot ballroom, the hotel can hold events of up to 1,300 people. For smaller groups, the hotel offers the Meetings Simplified by DoubleTree by Hilton package from $59.49 per person, which includes the meeting room, basic meeting Wi-Fi, supplies including a flipchart, markers, extension and power cord, and all day non-alcoholic beverage service. Catering services and a dedicated event staff also are available.
