Summer is just around the corner and we all know what that means—it’s time to get outside and soak up as much sun as possible.
Atlantic City is prepared with a whole host of entertainment options including DJ sets, headliner concerts and sporting events.
“Atlantic City is ready to welcome visitors to our free beaches, world-famous Boardwalk, gaming and nightlife establishments,” says Jeff Guaracino, executive director of the Atlantic City Alliance. “Summer is our peak season and we anticipate strong demand especially on weekends for concert tickets, dinner reservations, hotel rooms and more. We recommend booking summer vacations now. Consider a mid-week getaway or try a boutique, non-casino hotel.”
To entice visitors to the area, The Atlantic City Alliance launched the DO AC Enterainment Capital of the Jersey Shore micro-campaign that will include social media promotion, welcome billboard signs, casino hotel packages and more.
In addition, the live events company, Live Nation, has made a large investment in Atlantic City to book a larger number of live entertainment in venues across the shore. Some acts coming to Atlantic City include Bob Dylan, Jerry Seinfeld, Madonna and Ricky Martin.
“Atlantic City is the place to be on the Jersey Shore for entertainment this summer,” said Live Nation Philadelphia Regional President Geoff Gordon. “We’re excited to be part of the new Borgata Festival Park and have a partnership with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority to bring a dozen shows to Boardwalk Hall in 2015.”
