The Exhibitions & Conferences Alliance (ECA) of Washington, D.C., is a coalition of meetings associations that advocates for industry-supporting public policy. It revealed its 2026 elected officers and board of directors in mid-January.
Those selected for the top spots include Fernando Fischer (chair), president of the Americas at Reed Exhibitions Ltd. (Surrey, England), representing the Society of Independent Show Organizers, and Mark Bogdansky (vice chair), vice president of trade shows and community engagement at the Auto Care Association (Bethesda, Maryland), representing the International Association of Exhibitions and Events. Other officers include Chris Griffin (treasurer), president and CEO at Crew XP (Orlando, Florida, and Las Vegas), representing the Experiential Designers & Producers Association, and Hervé Sedky (secretary), president and CEO at Emerald Expositions LLC (New York City), representing the Society of Independent Show Organizers.
