Planners looking to secure rooms or event space in the heart of Virginia Hunt Country can now consider Hotel Burg, a boutique 39-room property that debuted in Leesburg in August. The hotel, owned by Kevin and Remington Ash of real estate development company Madison Dale in Washington, D.C., is designed in a combination of Federal, Colonial, and Italianate architectural styles that are complemented by original regional art, as well as antique furnishings.
Its on-site restaurant, The Huntōn, is set in a warm, wood-paneled space with a rentable patio for up to 70 attendees that overlooks downtown Leesburg. Menu items are inspired by a hunter’s bounty and include dishes like Venison Tartelete and King Midas’ Risotto with chanterelle mushrooms. Hotel Burg’s rooftop event space fits up to 80 attendees, featuring a tranquil water feature, fire pit, and sweeping city views for sunset cocktail hours. The hotel’s Community Room and boardroom accommodate up to 110 and 18, respectively, while its off-site venue, The Manor 1858, is nestled amid 22 acres of rolling hills with a restored 19th-century barn space, among others.
