After one-and-a-half years, Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in the Pocono Mountains, Pa., is set to open its doors.
The grand opening will of the brand-new resort is slated for July 1. The hotel—the first Kalahari on the East Coast—features 457 rooms and suites, 65,000-square-feet of meeting space, a spa, an 18-hole, Donald Ross-designed golf course and a number of retail shops. The hotel is the largest indoor waterpark in the state of Pennsylvania.
The meeting space includes 25,000-square-foot and 9,000-square foot ballrooms, 18 meeting spaces, a handful of hospitality suites, two boardrooms and nine meeting rooms designed for smaller get-togethers.
