Meet AC, Atlantic City, N.J.’s tourism development agency, is shaking things up with three new websites this year and three in the pipeline set to launch within the next six months.
Recently, the organization established the convention website, which holds its convention calendar, a number of meeting planner tools and marketing materials. The convention center website merged with Meet AC. Soon, exhibitors will be able to make purchases directly through the website.
The second website launch is the Atlantic City Sports Commission website, which features venue information, upcoming events and destination services.
The agency also created a photo source site for media to obtain photos with proper credit. It allows visitors to download high-resolution photos of the city, meeting venues and more.
Next up is the Group Motorcoach website, Atlantic City Film Commission and site and one geared toward market research. All are compatible with mobile devices.
“I am very pleased with the direction that Meet AC is going in,” says Jim Wood, president/CEO, Meet AC. “Meetings and conventions help support the overall tourism industry in Atlantic City, and it is crucial to have the most up-to-date information and technology in this industry. As the meetings segment increases, it means more jobs, more delegate spending in Atlantic City and overall more nongaming growth as Atlantic City continues to diversify its tourism portfolio.”
