Caesars Entertainment named Steve van der Molen, CFBE, CMP, as vice president of meeting operations for the Atlantic City region.
In his new role, Van der Molen will be responsible for the opening of the Harrah’s Atlantic City Waterfront Conference Center slated for this August To the position, he brings 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including positions at Walt Disney World, Caesars Entertainment as the assistant director of convention operations at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and, most recently, director of on property sales for the company’s Las Vegas properties. He received a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration from The Hague International University in the Netherlands.
