The dual-branded Residence Inn/Moxy Hotel Portland Thompson’s Point is set to open this summer. It will be a five-story, 148-room property with two distinct hotel experiences. The Residence Inn is geared toward extended stays, with each guest room containing a fully equipped kitchen, while Moxy puts its focus on the social, with a complimentary drink upon check-in and a stylish, youthful atmosphere. The hotel puts groups in proximity to industrial venue Brick South, a spacious blank slate for up to 2,500; The Depot Pavilion for up to 6,000; and the 6,800-square-foot Halo at The Point, which holds 250.
