The Witmondt and Schonbraun Families, operating through Edgewood Golf Course Realty Associates, are the new owner of the 60-year-old golf course, Edgewood Country Club in River Vale.
“Edgewood Country Club boasts a longstanding history and a loyal member base in Bergen County and beyond,” says Dan Rogers, general manager, Edgewood Country Club. “This new ownership ushers in a new era of financial stability and a long-term improvement plan that will feature exceptional facilities and fresh programming at Edgewood.”
The transaction closed on April 1. Hampton Golf Management is now providing management oversight during the ownership transition and will continue ongoing operations management of the club.
The new owners plan to make capital improvements during upcoming years to update both the property and facilities. Program and amenity updates are also in the works—including the swimming pool and club house, slated to start this year.

The country club offers event space for both members and non-members.
