It’s a busy week ahead as the Atlantic City Convention Center ramps up to welcome more than 13,000 attendees for three events throughout the week.
More than 1,500 mortgage bankers and others interested will be attending the 2015 Annual Regional Conference, Mortgage Bankers Association of New Jersey, which started yesterday and will go through March 12.
Two trade shows are also hitting the city this week: the 2015 Imprinted Sportswear Show—a show dedicated to the decorated apparel industry—and the 2015 EXPO EAST—the biggest promotional products show on the East Coast. For the first time in the shows’ history, they will be combining their two floors to create a collective event. An audience of 12,000 qualified promotional product buyers will be in attendance from March 12 through March 15.
The three events combined are expected to generate significant revenue for Atlantic City’s local businesses. The economic impact is estimated to be more than $9 million, and the number of hotel rooms the convention center visitors will be occupying is approximately 5,838.
