Meet Atlantic City has recently revealed that Triple Play REALTOR Convention and Trade Expo officials have signed a three-year deal to remain in Atlantic City for 2016, 2017 and 2018.
The convention, which brings in more than 8,000 attendees each year, features 80 educational seminars led by top industry experts. The expo also holds 325 booths that give visitors cutting-edge tools they can use to enhance their real estate business. The annual estimated impact is more than $4.8 million each year.
“We are thrilled that the Triple Play REALTOR Convention has elected to remain with us here in Atlantic City through 2018,” says Jim Wood, president and CEO, Meet AC. “Meet AC is committed to growing the convention business in Atlantic City. The convention industry has a tremendous impact on Atlantic City’s economy as evidenced by the tremendous impact Triple Play REALTOR Convention will have on our local hotels, restaurants, retail outlets and casinos each year.”
The tri-state event—co-sponsored by the New Jersey, New York State and Pennsyvania association of REALTORS—has been hosted at the Atlantic City Convention Center since its conception 15 years ago. Prior to the Triple Play event, the New Jersey REALTORS held their annual convent in Atlantic City since 1917.
“The Meet AC Team and the Atlantic City Convention Center staff have been amazing partners in our convention planning process and we couldn’t have asked for a better understanding of the needs of our group and their help to make our events a success,” says Maureen Murphy, show manager, Triple Play REALTOR Convention. “Our decision to remain in Atlantic City has been a long time in the making.”
