Surprising no one, the Wildwoods, N.J. has been named The Most Beautiful Place in New Jersey by Thrillist.com.
The website, which focuses on food, beverages and travel, surveyed residents and tourism boards from every state to find the most beautiful spots within each state.
The website noted the area’s boardwalk, downtown and beaches as reasons for bestowing the honor on the Wildwoods. There are three amusement piers and a number of shops, arcaes and more than 300 restaurants. The area also features more than 8,000 guest rooms and 3,000 vacation rentals.
