That old adage that you can’t go home again? It’s just not true. I’m a Jersey girl, born and bred. I took class trips to many of the historic sites, museums and parks that we feature in this very magazine and I even spent my summers on the Jersey shore —
way before Snooki claimed her stake, but like other newly minted college graduates, I left for other adventures. I spent 17 years away from the Garden State in places like New York City, Connecticut and North Carolina, but New Jersey’s siren song
eventually beckoned and we moved back this summer. It’s been a fantastic journey – equal parts rediscovery of familiar favorites and exploration of the brand new.
