MeetAC.com reports that Atlantic city is closing out a successful 2021 convention season, welcoming three events during December. The Action Expo has returned to the Atlantic City Convention Center for its 18th successful year of bringing together top manufacturers, retailers, reps, gurus and groms in action sports and youth culture For the 2021 trade show, Action Expo is gathering over 300 action sports brands and approximately 600 retail buyers and decision makers. Also returning is the Triple Play REALTOR® Convention & Trade Expo,
the largest real estate convention and trade show in the United States. Organized by the New Jersey Association of Realtors, the event offers over 100 educational sessions and 50 speakers.
Lastly, Atlantic City is welcoming INTER[action] 2021. The annual global, multi-hub hybrid experience is a newcomer to Atlantic City and an important one, with 450 participants convening for three days of networking, meetings and exploration of the destination.
“Since the return of meetings and conventions,” says Larry Sieg, Meet AC’s president and CEO, “we have seen increased attendance and boosted economic impact for the destination, while attendees are happily reconnecting and conducting business in person. As we continue safe, in-person events, we are eager to continue an eventful 2022 convention season.”
Atlantic City expects to welcome more than 9,255 attendees for all events. Local Atlantic City businesses will be positively impacted by the activity throughout the destination, as the estimated economic impact will reach over $7 million. In addition, more than 6,585 hotel rooms have been contracted for these events.
