Something new has popped up in the Philadelphia area. Smoke & Mirrors Magic Theater, part of the Magical Arts Center, opens Aug. 18 in Huntingdon Valley. The facility is owned and operated by two professional magicians with a combined 60 years of experience under their belts – Danny Archer and Marty Martin. The 60-seat theater was designed to ensure that everyone has a great view of the action. The theater will welcome area talent, including many performers who have been featured on a variety of television shows and live performances such as “America’s Got Talent,” “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” and “Masters of Illusion.”
The 5,000-square-foot Magical Arts Center offers more than just the 60-seat theater. The center also features: the Little Theater, a second 60-seat theater specializing in family magic shows/birthday parties, plus a magic school offering classes that are just right for team-building events.
