Home Northwest ˈTis The Season

ˈTis The Season

By M+E Staff

On December 12, hospitality and travel industry colleagues joined Visit Seattle at the Westin Seattle Hotel for its annual holiday breakfast. In addition to enjoying great food, entertainment and company, the group raised $4,000 to support the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation. The cause was chosen in honor of long-time Visit Seattle team member Michael Kurtz.

Prior to retiring last year following 12 years of service, Michael was the organization’s director for tourism development, Asia and Latin America, and was instrumental in expanding Seattle’s
Chinese and Japanese markets. Parkinson’s research is a cause Michael is deeply passionate about. Congrats Visit Seattle and all of you who attended for making a difference in our
community.

As we head into 2014, I hope this year has been everything you wished for and more and that the coming year is chock full of joy, laughter and new opportunities and inspiration for you, both
personally and professionally.

Happy New Year!
