Hotel Jackson, a boutique 55-room hotel in the heart of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, was first founded by Jim Darwiche and is now run by him and his son, General Manager Sadek Darwiche. “It’s located right downtown, so it’s in the Town Square [just] steps from all of the shopping, restaurants, and art galleries that Jackson Hole is really famous for,” says Sadek.
When it comes to the Tripadvisor 2023 Travelers’ Choice award, which Hotel Jackson received at the end of May, Sadek says it’s a testament to the care and attention to detail given by the hotel’s team and staff. “[They] really want people to feel like this [hotel] is the home away from home for guests. … We’re all very proud that we were able to achieve that award because it’s a reflection of the hard work and dedication that the team and staff have put in.” The award itself celebrates businesses that have received consistent positive reviews from guests on Tripadvisor over the last 12 months.
When it comes to hosting your group at Hotel Jackson, there are several flexible options for spaces and amenities. Gather in the Deloney Meeting Room, a 336-square-foot boardroom that sits up to 14 in a U-shape arrangement. Or, host in the Hotel Jackson Cabin across the street for up to 30 for a myriad of events. The cabin is an independent venue, but the hotel runs all of its functions and services. Other spaces available for groups include the hotel’s on-site Sacajawea Library and its restaurant, Figs. “We’re pretty adept at being able to accommodate different groups’ needs, whether that’s cocktail receptions or its sit-down or more classroom-style,” Sadek adds.
The restaurant, Figs, serves Mediterranean cuisine, though is flexible to accommodate for guests’ preferences and group needs. “We’re blessed to have a chef that also has put together some more contemporary cuisine [options],” Sadek says. Catering menus are available for events, and arrangements can also be made with off-site vendors if preferred. If you want to keep the gathering in Figs, the eatery can host up to 50 reception-style or 30 seated. Hotel Jackson also has renovations underway that will add more event and restaurant space, suites, and a spa in 2024 and 2025.
“I think what [guests] are going to find with Hotel Jackson is that as a local hotel and a local platform, first and foremost, we have local insight. We understand and know this market like nobody else,” says Sadek. “[And second], we will go above and beyond to ensure that these events happen without a hitch. No request is too big or too small—and that’s just really where we excel, at basically being able to bring everything together and make it seamless so that the guests—whether they’re a group or an individual—can really enjoy their time and focus on whatever it is that’s most important to them.”
