Tucked in the West Mountains of eastern Idaho along the shores of Lake Cascade just north of Boise, Tamarack Resort has a range of updates for planners to note—with more to come in the near future. The property has been undergoing a major revitalization project since 2019, touching on nearly every piece of the ski resort—from expanding ski operations and building Tamarack’s alpine-style village with retail and dining to reopening its Osprey Meadows Golf Course and upgrading the ski terrain and slopes. Over the course of the 2025-26 ski season, Tamarack Resort continued this transformation, with the next milestone coming this summer with the opening of a full-service, 100-slip marina on Lake Cascade.

It doesn’t stop there—within the next 18 months, the resort intends to begin construction of a four-star lodging property and also kick off upgrades to its lift infrastructure. All of these transformative projects will enhance the property’s overall capacity for hosting leisure guests and meetings and events alike—fittingly, it will be the host site for the upcoming Intermountain Ski Areas Association (ISAA) 2026 ISAA Conference in June, which brings together a range of ski-industry professionals to exchange ideas and foster relationships.

There are various overnight accommodations across the property for groups to choose from, including cottages, townhomes, chalets, and estate homes, with lodging blocks available for multiday gatherings. Individual event spaces run the gamut from the 2,496-square-foot Grange Ballroom and the 1,189-square-foot Arling Chapel to the 1,474-square-foot Arling Schoolhouse. Larger venues that house multiple gathering rooms include the 12,000-square-foot Mid-Mountain Lodge, in addition to thousands of square feet of outdoor event space. There is a slew of activities to engage attendees in, whether it’s teeing up at the golf course, whitewater rafting, skiing, snowboarding, or relaxing at The Spa at Tamarack.
