Salish Lodge & Spa, located in Snoqualmie, Washington, along the Snoqualmie River, is owned by the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe and operated by Seattle-based Columbia Hospitality. In early April, the property announced the reopening of its signature dining establishment, now called The Restaurant & Terrace Bar, a reimagination of the eatery that features a new interior design and refreshed menus.
“The Restaurant & Terrace Bar at Salish Lodge & Spa is a true celebration of the Pacific Northwest, honoring the rich history of the iconic place while embracing a new culinary adventure,” says Alan Stephens, general manager of the lodge, in a prepared statement. “For decades, guests have come to Salish to celebrate life’s special moments. This transformation of our restaurant allows us to serve them better than ever—offering exceptional food and drink, breathtaking views, and warm hospitality in a sophisticated, yet relaxed space where they can create lasting memories.”
The culinary concept behind the refreshed restaurant is a Pacific Northwest take on the classic American steakhouse, with a menu centered on dry-aged beef sourced from Royal Family Farms in Royal City, Washington; as well as regional seafood such as salmon, halibut, jumbo prawns, and Alaskan king crab legs. Other plates to note include vegan and vegetarian options such as the Chantrelle Agnolotti and cauliflower steak, as well as classic steakhouse sides like hand-cut fries, grilled asparagus, and baked potatoes.
Diners also will find an extensive wine list at The Restaurant & Terrace Bar, as well as signature cocktails such as The Dale Cooper—an homage to the lodge’s history as a filming site for the TV show “Twin Peaks,” with ingredients including Wildwood Spirits Co. Kur gin and Salish Lodge & Spa Dry Honey Cider (made of honey sourced from the lodge’s on-site apiary). The restaurant provides 1,237 square feet of covered, heated patio space with fire pits for year-round outdoor dining.
Meeting planners will appreciate the lodge’s assortment of event spaces, which includes the Salish Ballroom spanning 2,052 square feet of space for up to 180 people theater-style. Other spaces to consider are the Wine Cellar Room and four one-bedroom suites for smaller meetings or breakouts.
