A two-in-one experience, The Jupiter Hotel and Jupiter NEXT offer 148 guest rooms and seven event spaces total for flexible gatherings. The two properties sit across the street from each other in the Central Eastside district of Portland and boast on-site restaurants proximity to fitness centers in the area.
“Jupiter Original’s (The Jupiter Hotel) rooms in our converted 1960s moto lodge are located in the middle of the action, with on-site access to Doug Fir Lounge,” says Jake Boye, senior sales manager for the properties. “All 81 rooms [of The Jupiter hotel] feature wall-sized murals and midcentury-modern style furnishings, free Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV,” Boye says.
At Jupiter NEXT, guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows for breathtaking views of the City of Roses, and Boye notes the “convenient location puts you just steps away from Portland’s top attractions and landmarks,” including sites like Buckman Field Park and Imago Theatre.
Between the seven event spaces across both properties, there is over 10,000 square feet of flexible space from the modern, industrial Arium Ballroom at Jupiter NEXT and the Dream Tent at The Jupiter Hotel filled with greenery and natural light to the Bunker conference room at Jupiter NEXT, and several others.
“Jupiter offers all-inclusive rentals which cover our clients’ set up, tear down, custom floor plan, furniture, in-house audiovisual [equipment], open arms catering policy, and event coordinators,” says Boye. “We love hosting out-of-the-box events [and want planners to] let our team help curate your event as unique as Portland itself.”
Then, when you decide to take a glimpse into the surrounding neighborhood, you’ll find a cluster of culinary experiences from French fare at Le Pigeon and upscale cocktails at Scotch Lodge, to seafood galore at Normandie. “Whether you’re a local resident or just visiting the city, these establishments are definitely worth a visit,” Boye says.
“We also offer an extensive range of local guides, including weather-based itineraries, staff picks, and so much more to help you get the most out of your stay,” Boye adds.
Whether it’s a daytime team retreat or yoga class, both Jupiter properties have the flexibility and creativity to create a true-to-Portland event your attendees won’t forget.
