Want a team-building activity that sets a group on fire? Consider a Sip + Pour Candle Making experience at the Noir Lux Candle Bar in Belltown, Washington. Founder Colina Bruce started her candle-making business as a pandemic hobby and went on to open a brickand-mortar location in February 2022. The private classes, which can also be done virtually, last about 90 minutes. Each participant makes a premium soy wax wood wick candle, choosing from among 50 fragrance oils, to create their own signature blend.
“For private sessions, we can host up to 35 folks at a time,” Bruce says. “The session includes exclusive use of the space and the option for groups to bring their own food and drinks.”
