Expansion Made Way for New Hotel at Angel of the Winds Casino

By M+E Staff

Dubbed the “world’s friendliest casino,” Angel of the Winds Casino will boast its 100,000 square feet of additional casino, as well as 50 jobs for the community of Arlington, Wash., through the ongoing $27 million construction project. The hotel is set to open mid-December 2014 and is in the third phase of the expansion project.

Casino guests have been requesting a hotel for the facility for some time, noted Travis O’Neil, general manager of Angel of the Winds Casino Hotel. The hotel will feature 125 guestrooms and will be connected to the casino. All standard rooms will house signature photography from local artist Steven Kennedy, RainDance Shower fixtures, polished chrome bathroom fixtures by Kohler, 42” LED TV, custom designed Simmons Beautyrest mattress, Keurig Coffee maker and an iPod speaker dock with clock radio. High speed internet and Wi-Fi will also be available as complimentary amenities.

“As we continue to grow, we anticipate adding more amenities that help to make Angel of the Winds a destination for not only the area, but the greater Pacific Northwest,” said O’Neil.

Built by DeamCatcher Hotels and constructed by Exxel Pacific, the hotel and Angel of the Winds Casino are located three minutes east of 1-5, Exit 210 in Arlington, Washington. Starting in November reservations for the hotel will be taken. Please call 360-474-9740 or visit www.AngelOfTheWinds.com to make a reservation or for more information about the casino and expansion project.
