In August, the Puget Sound Business Journal named the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority, also known as Explore Seattle Southside, one of Washington’s Best Workplaces of 2025. The destination marketing organization ranked No. 13 in the Extra Small Companies category, and the journal announced the accolade at an awards event on Aug. 28 at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. The company also was one of the primary sponsors of the event.
The Puget Sound Business Journal recognition honors companies statewide that prioritize healthy work environments and cultures for employees. The Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority promotes the southern King County communities of SeaTac, Tukwila, and Des Moines—all south of downtown Seattle—for meetings, events, and leisure travel.
