Kaspars Special Events and Catering Announced Plans for Expansion

By M+E Staff

Chef Kaspar and Nancy Donier of Kaspars Special Events and Catering announced their decision to move locations to the Magnolia building at 34th Avenue and sell their previous property at 1st Avenue West and Harrison on lower Queen Anne. Kaspars also purchased a 3,000-square-foot space across the street to serve as their company warehouse.

The Magnolia restaurant is “perfect for private parties of up to 70 guests and for our popular team-building and cooking classes,” said Donier. “We will also offer demonstration cooking classes, and special event dinners open to the public beginning in fall. The addition of the warehouse will help keep chef Kaspar and crew nimble as we implement a plan to accommodate our growth and vision for our company.”

“We are privileged to serve the Greater Seattle community for over a quarter century,” said Kaspar, who presides over a thousand events annually. “We are excited to move into more efficient kitchen and warehouse spaces and look forward to seeing everyone at our new venues.”

The expansion of Kaspars includes partnerships with the Washington Trust for Historical Preservation, owner and steward of Seattle’s landmark Stimson-Green Mansion; Factory Luxe, the SODO event space in the old Rainier Brewery building; and the Olde Stone Stables in Issaquah.
