Emerging Sales Professionals—a professional development offering of the International Association of Venue Managers—will host its fifth professional development seminar for staff selling publicly owned or operated convention and meeting venues. The event, called ESP5, will co-locate with the 2016 PCMA / MPIWSC Meetings Industry Summit, which is presented by the Professional Convention Management Association Pacific Northwest Chapter and Meeting Professionals International Washington State Chapter. Both of these powerful educational events will be held on Sept. 15, 2016, at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Wash.
The ESP5 program will offer professional development for emerging sales professionals. Featured speakers include Jim Spellos, president of Meeting U., who will address the topic of cutting-edge meeting technology. Spellos is a faculty member at New York University, teaching in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies.
Concurrently, the Meetings Industry Summit will feature sought-after industry speakers, including Judi Holler—branding consultant, emcee and Second City alum—and Michael Dominguez, chief sales officer for MGM Resorts International.
