New Tasting Room Debuts at Sokol Blosser Winery

Sokol Blosser Winery adds a new Tasting Room designed by Allied Works Architecture. The addition sets new standards in service, hospitality and design for Oregon wine country.

The Tasting Room offers 5,000 square feet of space.The structure itself uses the landscape to to provide scenic views of Willamette Valley’s Dundee Hills. It is the first winery in the country to pursue the Living Building Challenge (LBC) Certification. The Tasting Room will track their environmental performance through out the year in order of an anticipated 2014 certification of the internationally recognized building standard.

Sokol Blosser increased the capacity of the tasting room to meet demand as well as boost the communal wine tasting experience for old and new visitors. Guests will experience eight tasting areas with the option to choose from tailored wine flights to wine and food pairings to private events.

Sokol Blosser produces Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and small quantites of Single Block Pinot Noirs under their brand name. The winery also produces a white blend and a red blend under the brand name, Evolution.
