Bebo will now manage both Hotel Lucia and the Governor Hotel, which formalizes a role he has been playing since the Governor Hotel was acquired in May 2012. He has held the position of general manager at Hotel Lucia since October 2011.

“I am thrilled that Chris is officially regional general manager for Hotel Lucia and the Governor Hotel,” said Bashar Wali, President of Provenance Hotels. “Team player that he is, Chris jumped at the chance to help us when we purchase the Governor and has done a great job keeping both hotels on track. We have many exciting changes planned at Hotel Lucia and the Governor Hotel and I could not think of a better person than Chris, with his operational expertise and inspirational leadership style, to lead these properties into the future.”

The three hotels are located within walking distance from each other in Portland. Combined, they offer 357 sleeping rooms and more than 31,000 square feet of meeting space.
