Seattle Southside, the leading tourism and marketing organization in South King County, introduces their newest team member, Business Development Manager Meagan McGuire. She will help sales efforts and assist groups for planning meetings and events in Seattle Southside.
McGuire served the hospitality industry previously as the group sales and private events account executive for the Museum of Flight since 2006. In this position she developed and executed outside sales strategies to increase admission sales, specifically targeted to groups, in fulfillment of periodic sales goals. McGuire also coordinated events held at the museum, including business meetings, weddings, receptions and trade shows.

McGuire graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Archeology and earned her Master’s degree from Washington State University in Anthropology.
The Seattle Southside Visitor Services program, offered jointly by the cities of Des Moines, SeaTac, and Tukwila, is responsible for competitively marketing the area as an ideal travel destination for tourists who wish to explore Western Washington.
