The historic Shore Lodge in McCall, Idaho, announced the completion of a full-property room renovation, marking the end of updates in recent years. The renovation sought to blend the guestrooms with the rest of the lodge by incorporating the same rich, natural materials found in the surrounding forest and expansive mountains for which McCall has become well known.
“The room renovation has been an exciting, but delicate, process as we sought to add modern luxuries without compromising the historic charm that our guests know and love,” Dan Scott, president and general manager said. “The final product is simply outstanding. We captured the natural spirit of McCall and blended it beautifully with the world-class amenities that continue to make Shore Lodge a much sought-after destination.”
The renovation, completed by McAlvain Construction, Inc., a Boise-based construction company, added several amenity upgrades to the 77-room property. Renovations include the addition of natural materials like wood and stone found in McCall’s outdoors, glass balcony partitions, flat screen HD TVs featuring DirecTV’s state-of-the-art “Residential Experience”, and end tables and headboards conveniently equipped with outlets.
The design team drew inspiration from mountain homes in the region and the spirit of the central Idaho town. Deep purples, grays and browns create a warm environment in the property and accent the panoramic mountain-lake views that appear outside the guest room patios.
