The Columbia Center has opened its Sky View Observatory (SVO) for public events with award-winning, full service catering provided by Ravishing Radish Catering. SVO teamed up with Ravishing Radish Catering to offer a unique event experience from weddings and cocktail parties to corporate events.
Located on the 73rd floor of the Columbia Center, SVO offers 360 degree views at 900 feet, making it the tallest public viewing area west of the Mississippi. The panoramic view includes Mt. Ranier, Mt. Baker, the Cascades, Elliott Bay, the Olympics, Seattle and the Space Needle. With sleek décor, the emphasis is put on the view, and the space can be tailored to suit a client’s needs with ease. SVO is complete with state-of-the-art technology made up of a built-in sound system, three flat screen TVs and the ability to accommodate a band or a DJ.
Chosen as “Seattle Bride Best Caterer for 2013,” Ravishing Radish was an obvious choice for SVO’s exclusive caterer. “Ravishing Radish Catering services are on par with the exceptional experience you get with an event at the SV,” said Lynda Collie, general manager, Columbia Center. “Their expertise in full-service catering will offer a seamless experience for our guests.” Ravishing Radish owner and founder, Lisbet Mielke remarks, “We are a local company and are delighted to be partnering with this extraordinary Seattle landmark.”
