Speakers Announced for Portland’s Sustainability Summit

The annual Sustainability Summit, organized by Northwest Food Processors Association (NWFPA), will take place on October 27, 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Portland. Dr. Greg Moller will be the keynote speaker.  
 
Dr. Moller, professor of environmental chemistry and toxicology with the University of Idaho and Washington State University Joint School of Food and Environmental Science Program,  is often cited in both academic journals and news publications and he has an award-winning and internationally-recognized webcast course, Principles of Sustainability. He is known for his sustainability practices in the dairy and food processing industry.
 
Other speakers will include Connie Kirby, food policy expert, on the Food Safety Modernization Act’s Animal Feed Rules with Chris Rich, attorney on Trends in Environmental Regulations; and Andrew Logan, Nutrinsic Corporation, on innovation wastewater treatment.
