Swirl Washington Scheduled to Return to Spokane

By M+E Staff

Swirl Washington, the largest food and wine pairing event in Eastern Washington, will be debuting in Spokane at the Davenport Hotel featuring more than 40 wineries from around the state.

“With so many wineries and tasting rooms in Spokane, as well as the newly created Cork District, it’s no question that Spokane is a wine destination,” said Jeanna Hofmesiter, chief marketing officer at Visit Spokate. “Swirl is not only for our dedicated, wine-loving locals, but also the visitors who come here to experience our entire culinary scene.”

Swirl Washington originated in Spokane several years ago as a popular annual event and eventually moved to Seattle. Tickets for the event are $75.

“We saw the need to bring back a large-scale wine event to the Spokane region because there is, quite literally, a growing thirst here for premier wines,” said Hofmeister. “We’re thrilled with this year’s esteemed list of participating wineries and restaurants.”

The event is co-produced by the Washington State Wine Commission and Visit Spokane. Proceeds will benefit the Providence Health Care Foundation.
