The Historic Marcus Whitman Hotel & Conference Center Offers Specials for Holiday Gatherings and Group Event Bookings

Since its founding in 1928, The Marcus Whitman Hotel & Conference Center has been a landmark in Walla Walla, Wash. and a popular gathering place for visitors, as well as the local community.
 
With the holidays coming up, the property is offering some bonuses throughout the season. Groups who schedule a meeting or party Sunday through Thursday will receive at least 15 percent off the publicized hotel room rates. In addition, meetings of 10 or more that are booked by Dec. 31, 2014 will receive a complimentary hosted one hour welcome reception.
 
Special perks are included when booking a group event or party. On the night of the party attendees can receive special hotel room rates. Groups of 20 or more are given one complimentary guestroom certificate that can be used the evening of the event or be used as a giveaway.  As an extra bonus, the Marcus Whitman decks out the ballroom with holiday décor and a festive Christmas tree to add to event ambiance at no extra cost.
 
Complete with boardrooms to ballrooms, the Conference Center in the Marcus Whitman Hotel features more than 13,000 square-feet of customizable event space and can host up to 450 people. The historic property also offers 127 luxury hotel rooms and six on-site wine tasting rooms.
 
Groups hosting events or meetings at The Marcus Whitman Hotel & Conference center are served by trained wait staff and an on-site event planner. The Marc Restaurant and The Vineyard Lounge provide catering to streamline planning. Linens, tables, chairs, and service ware are all provided at no additional charge.
