The Sawtooth Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the natural space and resources of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, is advocating for and encouraging the community to act to help preserve the natural space for everyone to enjoy.
Since 1997, the organization has served as an advocate for the Sawtooth NRA by raising money through memberships, donations and fundraising to maintain and enhance the natural spaces of the Sawtooth NRA. Throughout the years it has led and organized volunteer projects that would otherwise be left undone due to limited funding and staffing by the U.S. Forest Service.
In celebrating the natural beauty and volunteerism of the Sawtooth NRA, the Sawtooth Society announced its annual and primary fundraising event, the Sagebrush Soiree on Saturday, July 26 from 6-10 p.m. The outdoor event includes a dinner, silent and live auctions, fine wines, and will feature local art.
