Tourism Victoria recently launched a new incentive-based campaign that celebrates meeting planners through the tagline, “You’re a Star. We’ll help you shine.” The goal of the organization is to show that Victoria can help take the stress out of planning while making the planner shine in the eyes of the client.
“The idea behind this campaign is we are helping meeting planners shine like stars to their client by ensuring a successful meeting in our star destination,” says Trina Mousseau, director of destination marketing at Tourism Victoria. “We are also giving them some star swag with a much deserved $100 gift card.”
Planners receive a $100 gift card of their choice if they send a qualified RFP for a minimum of 50 room nights to Tourism Victoria by December 31, 2014. The gift cards are provided by the giftcertificates.com network.
The campaign will be spread through direct mail, advertising in meeting magazines and special tradeshow activation that includes a star dressing room theme including hot pink boas.
