A Curated Experience in Eugene

By Meetings + Events Staff

Eugene’s historic 5th Street Public Market is anchored by two special boutique hotels, both offering a plethora of flexible meeting space. While many properties can master the art of the breakout room or pull off an inspiring brainstorm session snack bar, not all can excel at providing an authentic array of amenities OUTSIDE the boardroom that make an off-site seem special, memorable, and worthwhile.

The 5th Street Public Market is simply a “one and done” solution for meeting planners seeking a true destination meeting or event with upscale lodging, complimentary luxury shuttle service, and walkable access to the market’s dozens of unique food and beverage outlets, tasting rooms, galleries, and enchanting, locally-focused retail experiences. The unique relationship of these hotels, located just one block from each other with a charming and vibrant market in between allows for those planning a meeting for 5 – 100 to curate an authentic experience.

The Gordon Hotel

The 5th Street Public Market’s The Gordon Hotel opened its doors in 2021 as part of the market’s award-winning expansion. The 80-room art-centric property offers perks like local beer/wine at check in, lobby programming, two restaurants and a secret speakeasy on-property. and an “art bar” for empowering guests’ own creations. The property features 3,700 square feet of flexible meeting space including a spacious ballroom for up to 100 guests with an integrated outdoor terrace overlooking the bustling 5th Street Public Market alley, break-out rooms (like the Pacific Northwest inspired Pendleton Room), a board room, as well as full-service catering complete with menu planning and bar/beverage service.

Inn at the 5th

The market’s Inn at the 5th offers elegant, four-diamond accommodations in its 69 guest rooms, where a selection of locally themed rooms gives additional references to local experiences at the hotel. Look for complimentary beer/wine at check in, cruiser bikes for exploring, and relaxing rooms with gas fireplaces, custom mattresses, and luxurious Italian linens. The property’s Maple Room has 1,400 square feet that can be set to accommodate events for up to 65, and there is a smaller space for up to six to meet privately – both with on-site catering.
