After years of treating canine visitors to dog biscuits in the hotel lobby, the staff of Radisson Hotel Corning decided it was time to turn their pooch pampering up a notch. On National Puppy Day (March 23), Radisson Hotel Corning officially kickstarted its new program, Pamper Your Pup Room Service.

With a menu of peanut butter banana crepes, oven roasted pork belly and mushroom arancini risotto, and "yappy hour," which includes BOGO half off menu items, no furry friends will be going hungry at this Corning hotel.

"We understand how dogs are part of the family, and when you are 'pampering' yourself at a relaxing hotel stay with great food, you want your four-legged friend to get in on the experience as well," says general manager Michele Donegan. "We have many guests that stay with us regularly or visit once or twice a year and always travel with their dogs, and we have come to know and love them. We wanted to offer a special treat just for them!"

In addition to the gourmet menu items, dogs are treated to homemade dog biscuits baked by Chef David Tarr in-house. Wherever you go in Radisson Hotel Corning, your pooch is sure to be treated like royalty.

"Our front office staff has been known to once or twice 'babysit' doggies that prefer not to be left alone in their guestroom and that is so much FUN! We spoil them rotten with play, walks and treats until their human comes to pick them up," Donegan says.

All dogs (and humans) are welcome at the Radisson Hotel Corning, regardless of size or breed.

Discover Puerto Rico, the island’s first-ever Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), has reported that in the past year, the island had its highest revenue and visitors numbers of all time. This is largely due to the DMO’s campaign “CoverTheProgress,” which encourages media outlets to highlight Puerto Rico’s progress and beauty, rather than the devastation.
