Hyatt Regency San Francisco Undergoes Club Lounge Renovation

The Hyatt Regency San Francisco top floor lounge has undergone a transformation introducing new high rise windows with 360 panoramic views designed by Looney & Associates.

The renovation was inspired by the San Francisco Bay and city skyline with modern architecture being reflected throughout the lounge.

Langham Hospitality Group Introduces “No Strings Attached PLUS”

The Langham Hospitality Group has launched their new program, “No Strings Attached PLUS,” with features such as waived cancellation terms, no attrition rate charges, complimentary internet charges for all guests and much more.

The program, which can be booked from April 1 through Aug. 31, 2017, for events taking place between April 1 and Dec. 31, 2017, is designed to offer event planners and organizers more flexibility with rewards and privileges unique to this program.

Two Chefs to Advance to International Copper Skillet Competition

Four chefs representing the United States and Canada from IACC-member properties recently competed in the IACC Americas Chapter Cook-Off at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmingon, Del. There was also a Junior Chef category in which IACC conference venue chefs under the age of 26 competed.

The chefs were given basic pantry items and a mystery basket of proteins with 30 minutes to prepare and present their dishes to judges from the local area.

Tony’s Catering Partners with Occasions

Occasions Catering in Englewood, Colo., announced that they will be taking over Tony’s Catering full-service catering operations. Tony’s Catering in Denver, a division of Tony’s Meats & Market, will continue to offer limited-service catering to its clients as well as pick-up and drop-off.

Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club Reveals New Promotion

Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club in southwest Florida will offer “Perks Are In Full Swing Group Promotion” in celebration of its revamped golf course. Available for new program bookings slated for May 21–Oct. 31, 2017, the promotion offers perks for groups that have booked at least 15 rooms on peak nights, with a minimum of two on Sunday–Thursday.

The promotion is available for the two peak nights on any night from Aug. 12–Sept. 9, 2017. To take advantage of the promotion, contract must be signed by April 30, 2017.

Mahaffey Introduces Special event Structure at CONEXPO-CON/AGG

Mahaffey Fabric Structures—a provider of temporary turnkey structures and shelter solutions in the U.S.—has launched Manhattan Matrix by Mahaffey. The fully-enclosed special event structure is a 50 feet by 82 feet with an all-glass front eave side that evokes a feeling of luxury typically found in permanent installations. It will house large events and was on display at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas March 7–11, 2017.

Meet Minneapolis Announces its Hospitality Awards

Meet Minneapolis, Convention and Visitors Association, revealed the winners of its annual awards at the 2017 Meet Minneapolis Annual Meeting on March 2 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. More than 530 partners, elected officials and other guests attended the event. Meet Minneapolis highlighted a milestone year for hospitality in Minneapolis and unveiled the city’s first-ever tourism master plan, Destination Transformation 2030.

Highland Haven Shoots for the Moon

Highland Haven Creekside Inn has recently been updated both online and on-site. From a redesigned website to electric fireplaces in junior suites, guests can expect a new and improved overall experience.

The Evergreen, Colo.-based Highland Haven’s new website launched last week, featuring the moon and stars as their new logo. Other updates to the brand include new hardwood floors in the property’s cottages and enhancements to their corporate meeting space and fairytale wedding packages.
